Job Description As a Security Officer - Patrol in Crete, NE , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a busy food and beverage location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and remain visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will document observations, respond to requests, and provide clear, courteous customer service to employees and visitors. Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Nice To Haves
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- CPR certification is preferred.
- Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by following Allied Universal post orders, security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities as directed.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting actions taken and notifying the appropriate contacts.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of production areas, warehouses, offices, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
- Control access at designated entry points by checking identification, verifying authorization for entry, and directing drivers, contractors, and visitors to the proper locations.
- Complete routine security-related reports such as shift logs, incident reports, and patrol activity records, and communicate relevant information during shift transitions.
