Security Officer - Patrol

As a Security Officer - Patrol Rounds CRE in Los Angeles, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol commercial real estate locations, helping to deter security-related incidents while remaining highly visible. You will conduct routine patrols and respond to situations as they arise, all while providing outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements
- At least one year of security-related experience is required.
- Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
- A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
- Alarm panel experience is preferred.
- Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding appropriately during emergencies.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting the needs of those at the location.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the commercial real estate property and its perimeter, adapting to varying working environments and conditions.
- Help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unwanted behavior by maintaining a visible presence during patrols.
- Report and document any observed irregularities, such as property damage, suspicious activity, or maintenance needs encountered during patrols.
- Collaborate with site management and Allied Universal leadership to address security-related concerns specific to the commercial real estate environment.
- Assist tenants, visitors, and staff by providing directions and responding to inquiries in a courteous and professional manner.
