About The Position

As a Security Officer - Manufacturing Patrol Driver in Memphis, TN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing a visible presence. You will interact with employees and visitors, deliver outstanding customer service, and communicate clearly while supporting a secure environment. This position requires a valid driver's license and may involve driving responsibilities as part of your daily duties.

Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to support the protection of people and property.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the manufacturing and industrial location, including the business premises and perimeter.
  • Observe and report any unusual activity or potential security-related concerns to Allied Universal management and/or client representatives.
  • Assist with access control by monitoring entry and exit points, verifying credentials, and helping to deter unauthorized access.
  • Support the enforcement of site rules and regulations as directed by Allied Universal and/or client policies.
  • Communicate professionally with employees, visitors, and contractors while representing Allied Universal.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of incidents, patrols, and other security-related activities as required.
