About The Position

As a Security Officer - Manufacturing Patrol Driver in Memphis, TN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing a visible presence. You will interact with employees and visitors, deliver outstanding customer service, and communicate clearly while supporting a secure environment. This position requires a valid driver's license and may involve driving responsibilities as part of your daily duties.

Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to support the protection of people and property.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the manufacturing and industrial location, including the business premises and perimeter.
Observe and report any unusual activity or potential security-related concerns to Allied Universal management and/or client representatives.
Assist with access control by monitoring entry and exit points, verifying credentials, and helping to deter unauthorized access.
Support the enforcement of site rules and regulations as directed by Allied Universal and/or client policies.
Communicate professionally with employees, visitors, and contractors while representing Allied Universal.
Maintain detailed and accurate records of incidents, patrols, and other security-related activities as required.
