Job Description As a Security Officer - Patrol in Chula Vista, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a financial institution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help reduce security-related incidents, and respond to concerns with calm, professional communication. You will complete routine rounds, document activity, and support staff and visitors with exceptional customer service. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and vendors at a financial services location by following Allied Universal procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior and exterior areas, including offices, lobbies, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe for unusual conditions, supporting visitor management and directing individuals to appropriate areas in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating notifications to site contacts and/or public emergency services as needed.
• Document security-related events, patrol activity, and incident response actions in written reports and logs, and communicate relevant updates during shift turnover.
