Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Alarm panel experience is preferred.
CPR certification is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
The ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to visitors, tenants, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a retail environment.
Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to site leadership when needed.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout sales floors, entrances, corridors, stockroom-adjacent areas, and the exterior perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
Monitor access points, observe guest and employee activity, and assist with bag check, receipt verification, and/or loss prevention support in accordance with location guidelines.
Support closing and opening routines, help with crowd and queue monitoring during busy periods, and provide clear directions and assistance to customers and staff as needed.
