As a Security Officer Patrol in Marysville, WA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and/or members of the public by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a public service setting.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and sharing relevant information with site contacts and/or emergency personnel as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity, identify unusual conditions, and report maintenance and/or access concerns.
  • Monitor public areas and access points, assist with directional support and general inquiries, and help to support orderly operations during busy periods, events, and/or opening and closing activities.
  • Observe and report suspicious behavior, policy violations, and/or potential hazards, while following post orders and Allied Universal guidelines for incident response and escalation.
