As an unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a fast-paced tech location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and maintain a visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents. You will greet employees and visitors, respond to requests, document observations, and communicate clearly with your team. Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients, visitors and/or employees by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology location.
- Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, loading docks and perimeter routes; document unusual conditions and report concerns per post orders.
- Monitor access points and security-related systems such as CCTV, alarms and/or visitor management tools; verify credentials and direct individuals to the proper destination based on site requirements.
- Respond to incidents, alarms and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; provide observations to site leadership and/or responding emergency services as needed.
- Complete security-related reports including daily activity logs, incident reports and shift handoffs; communicate clearly with supervisors, client representatives and other onsite personnel.
