As a Security Officer Patrol in Demopolis, AL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer at a busy food and beverage location, where you will monitor activity, conduct routine patrols, and support access procedures while providing outstanding customer service and communication. In this role, you will help to deter security-related incidents through a visible presence and a people-first approach, working with agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity every day.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to all visitors, staff, and/or drivers by following site-specific procedures, access protocols, and emergency response activities at a food and beverage location.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns according to site guidelines.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, production-adjacent areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help identify suspicious activity and/or policy violations.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials or visitor information as directed, and help support the controlled movement of people, vehicles, and/or deliveries on the property.
• Communicate with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership regarding incidents, maintenance issues, and/or operational concerns that could impact daily site operations.
