Requirements

• An active DoD Secret Clearance is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while documenting observations and communicating with site contacts as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, controlled areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and report maintenance, access, and/or security-related concerns.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor access as directed by site protocols, and support access control procedures for employees, contractors, and guests.
• Support day-to-day operations by preparing reports, noting incidents and/or policy violations, and following post orders for an unarmed patrol assignment in a professional manner.
