About The Position

As a Security Officer Patrol Unit in Dallas, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer at a commercial real estate location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
Be at least 21 years of age.
Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, which is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

CPR and First Aid experience is preferred.
Have customer service experience, which is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
Respond to incidents, alarms, maintenance concerns, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and document observations according to site guidelines.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout lobbies, common areas, parking areas, and the exterior perimeter to help identify unusual activity and/or security-related concerns.
Monitor access points and property activity, assist with visitor directions and/or tenant needs, and report suspicious behavior, hazards, or policy violations to the appropriate contacts.
Support property operations by communicating clearly with building management, tenants, and/or emergency responders during routine activities and unusual situations.
