As a Security Officer Patrol Unit in Winston Salem, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a government location, where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support daily operations through strong communication and customer service. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • Possess a valid driver’s license (as this is a patrol unit position, driving is implied).

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by carrying out assigned security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a government location.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns through appropriate channels.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual conditions.
  • Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, verifying credentials and reporting suspicious behavior or policy violations.
  • Support public-facing operations by giving directions, answering general questions, and communicating with staff, visitors, and/or first responders during routine and emergency situations.
