As a Security Officer Patrol Unit in Hagerstown, MD, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial. This unarmed Patrol Officer role at a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location involves conducting routine patrols, maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and supporting daily operations through strong communication and customer service. Requirements

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out assigned security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at an industrial location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site protocol.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, production areas, loading zones, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor, vendor, and/or delivery activity while reporting suspicious behavior, maintenance issues, and/or policy violations to the appropriate contact.
• Complete routine reports and document incidents, patrol findings, and/or notable activity while communicating clearly with site personnel and Allied Universal leadership.
