Job Description As a Security Officer - Hospital Patrol Unarmed in CHERRY HILL, NJ , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal in a healthcare setting, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while maintaining a visible presence. Requirements

At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Access control or badge experience is preferred.
A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
CPR certification is preferred.
CPR or first aid is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, responding to emergencies as appropriate.
Assist in helping to deter incidents by conducting regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare facility and its perimeter, including both indoor and outdoor areas.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
Support access control procedures by monitoring entrances, exits, and restricted areas as directed by site policies.
Work collaboratively with staff and visitors to promote a secure environment within the healthcare location.
Complete daily activity reports and/or incident reports as required by Allied Universal and site management.
