About The Position

As a Security Officer - Patrol - Transportation Facility in San Antonio, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a leading tech, media, and telecom location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere. Your visible presence and professional communication will contribute to a secure environment while delivering outstanding customer service. This is a driving post. Requirements

Be at least 21 years of age.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Access control or badge experience is preferred.
Alarm panel experience is preferred.
CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the location, including the business premises and perimeter, to help to deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor and observe the environment for potential security-related concerns relevant to a tech, media, or telecom setting.
Communicate professionally with site visitors, employees, and/or contractors, addressing questions and providing assistance as needed.
Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and/or irregularities according to company and client protocols.
