About The Position

As a Security Officer - Patrol Specialist in Appleton, WI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As an unarmed patrol professional in an aerospace and defense location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents and maintain a secure environment. You will remain visible, provide excellent customer service, and communicate professionally with everyone at the site. Requirements

Must be at least 21 years of age.
Ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner within the aerospace and defense location.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity.
Monitor the premises for unusual or suspicious activity and report findings according to established protocols.
Assist employees, visitors, and contractors by providing information and directions as needed.
Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency response teams when required for incidents at the location.
Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and/or irregularities encountered during patrols.
