About The Position

As a Security Officer - Patrol Specialist in Appleton, WI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As an unarmed patrol professional in an aerospace and defense location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents and maintain a secure environment. You will remain visible, provide excellent customer service, and communicate professionally with everyone at the site. Requirements

  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner within the aerospace and defense location.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity.
  • Monitor the premises for unusual or suspicious activity and report findings according to established protocols.
  • Assist employees, visitors, and contractors by providing information and directions as needed.
  • Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency response teams when required for incidents at the location.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and/or irregularities encountered during patrols.
