About The Position

As a Security Officer Patrol Specialist in Wilkes Barre, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Requirements

Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Loss prevention experience is preferred.
CPR certification is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to staff, patients, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns through proper channels.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential hazards or unusual conditions.
Monitor access points and visitor activity, helping to support authorized entry, protect confidential areas, and address questions or concerns with professionalism and courtesy.
Assist with security-related incidents involving trespassing, disorderly conduct, and/or medical emergencies by coordinating with site contacts, first responders, and Allied Universal leadership as needed.
