About The Position

As a Security Officer Patrol Specialist Lead in West Chester, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal at a dynamic tech and media location where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay visible to help reduce security-related concerns, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. In this unarmed role, you will support daily operations with professionalism while reflecting a caring culture, teamwork, reliability, agility, innovation, and integrity in every interaction.

Requirements

Supervisory experience is required.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Alarm panel experience is preferred.
Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
CPR certification is preferred.
Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control activities, and appropriate emergency response actions at a technology and communications location.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with site contacts and/or public emergency services when needed.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout office areas, building perimeters, parking areas, and other assigned spaces to help identify unusual activity and support security-related operations.
Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor information, and report suspicious behavior, maintenance concerns, or policy violations to the appropriate site representatives.
Support security-related procedures for deliveries, contractors, and after-hours activity, while maintaining detailed logs, incident reports, and shift communication notes.
