As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol retail and mall locations, remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents and foster a welcoming environment. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients and visitors at the retail location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner within the retail and mall environment.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter undesirable activity and promote a welcoming environment.
Observe and report any suspicious behavior, hazards, or security-related issues encountered during patrols.
Assist with access control procedures and monitor entry and exit points to support a secure atmosphere for all occupants and guests.
Collaborate with location management and/or emergency services as needed during incidents or emergencies.
Document and report all activities, incidents, and irregularities in accordance with Allied Universal policies and client requirements.
