Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a retail location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents. Requirements

• This is primarily a driving post.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Handcuffing certification is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Pepper spray certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while communicating with site contacts and/or local first responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location, storefronts, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity and/or policy violations.
• Monitor access points, observe visitor and/or employee activity, and report suspicious behavior, hazards, and/or maintenance concerns according to site procedures.
• Support loss prevention efforts by documenting incidents, completing required reports, and assisting with crowd flow during busy shopping periods and/or special events.
