Requirements

MUST HAVE VALID AND CURRENT CA. GUARD CARD & TRAINING CERTIFICATES!
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

A state, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred.
CPR certification is preferred.
Access control and badge experience is preferred.
Alarm panel experience is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service at a technology-focused location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while documenting observations and reporting concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unwanted activity and identify unusual conditions.
Monitor access points, verify credentials when required, and support visitor, employee, and/or contractor entry procedures in accordance with site protocols.
Support day-to-day operations by communicating clearly with staff and visitors, following post orders, and completing assigned reports related to security-related activities.
