Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a retail location.
Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while communicating with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as needed.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the store, sales floor, parking areas, receiving zones, and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas for suspicious behavior, policy violations, and/or operational issues, and report observations through required documentation.
Support loss prevention awareness by observing customer and visitor activity, following post orders, and assisting with security-related responses to disturbances, alarms, and/or emergencies.
