About The Position

Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-related activities, and when appropriate, emergency response actions in a retail location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with site contacts as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout sales floors, entrances, exits, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor foot traffic, observe for unusual behavior, and report maintenance issues, hazards, and/or policy violations to the appropriate personnel.
• Support loss prevention and store operations by maintaining a visible presence, assisting with de-escalation when appropriate, and following Allied Universal and site-specific reporting procedures.
