Job Description As a Security Officer Patrol Response in Overland Park, KS , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a dynamic tech and telecom location, where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help discourage security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. In this role, you will support daily operations with agility, reliability, and innovation while working as part of a team that puts people first and acts with integrity.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology and telecommunications location.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts according to post instructions.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, including exterior areas, entrances, common spaces, and perimeter points, helping to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual conditions.
Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials when required, and report maintenance, operational, and/or security-related concerns to the appropriate contact.
Support day-to-day site operations by maintaining a visible presence, providing directions and assistance, and completing routine reports related to patrol activity, incidents, and/or policy violations.
