About The Position

As a Security Officer Patrol Planner in NEW YORK, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a dynamic technology location, where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific procedures, following access protocols, and supporting emergency response activities when appropriate at a technology-focused location.
Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with site contacts and/or emergency services as needed.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout offices, common areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help identify security-related concerns and/or policy violations.
Monitor entrances, exits, and visitor activity to help support authorized access, protect confidential work areas, and report suspicious behavior or conditions.
Complete routine reports, maintain post records, and relay important observations to Allied Universal leadership and/or client representatives in a timely manner.
