About The Position
As a Security Officer Patrol Operations in Johnstown, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol professional in a busy retail location, where you will conduct routine patrols, stay visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to visitors, shoppers, and store personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner while communicating relevant information to site contacts and/or emergency personnel.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location, sales floor areas, entrances, exits, stockroom areas, and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
- Monitor assigned areas for suspicious behavior, policy violations, and/or access concerns, and document observations and incidents according to post guidelines.
- Support closing and opening activities, crowd flow, and/or after-hours access control as directed for the location and its daily operations.
