Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and support patients, visitors, and staff with strong customer service and communication. Requirements

At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Access control and badge experience is preferred.
CPR and/or First Aid experience is preferred.
CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate for a healthcare location.
Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts as needed.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
Monitor access points and visitor activity, helping to support orderly entry and exit procedures in accordance with location protocols.
Assist with de-escalation, directional support, and other routine security-related duties while maintaining professionalism and attention to the needs of a healthcare environment.
