Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a government location, where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and support daily operations through strong customer service and communication. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to residents, visitors, staff, and/or members of the public by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report observations to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as required.
Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
Monitor access points, verify authorized entry, and document visitor, contractor, and/or delivery activity in accordance with location protocols and government site requirements.
Prepare clear, accurate reports of incidents, maintenance concerns, policy violations, and/or other noteworthy activity, and communicate relevant updates to appropriate personnel.
