Requirements
- Have 3+ years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience, or possess a college degree.
- Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, access control activities, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a financial institution location.
- Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and/or emergency personnel as needed.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the location, including lobbies, common areas, exterior grounds, and perimeter points, with attention to security-related concerns and policy compliance.
- Monitor entrances, exits, and other designated areas to help to deter unauthorized access, document observations, and report suspicious behavior, hazards, and/or maintenance issues.
- Support day-to-day operations at the location by assisting with visitor processing, following post orders, completing required reports, and maintaining a professional presence during routine and emergency situations.
