About The Position
As a Security Officer Patrol Inspector in Bordentown, NJ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy manufacturing and industrial location, where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support daily operations through strong customer service and communication. Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to site personnel, visitors, and/or vendors while carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production areas, warehouse spaces, shipping and receiving zones, parking areas, and the exterior perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual conditions.
- Monitor access points and help to control entry and exit activity for employees, contractors, deliveries, and/or visitors in accordance with location protocols.
- Observe industrial equipment areas, material storage locations, and high-traffic workspaces for potential hazards, maintenance issues, and/or policy violations, and communicate findings through appropriate reporting channels.
