About The Position

As a Security Officer Patrol Guardian in Chicago, IL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a dynamic commercial real estate location, where you will conduct routine patrols, stay visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service. Requirements

Possess at least 1 year of security-related experience.
Be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate relevant details to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout common areas, entrances, exits, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to identify unusual activity and/or potential concerns.
Monitor access points and high-traffic public areas, assist with visitor direction and information, and report maintenance, security-related, and/or customer service issues as needed.
Support daily operations at a busy commercial real estate location by documenting observations, completing required reports, and following post orders and/or site procedures.
