Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting actions and outcomes as required.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the manufacturing and industrial location, including interior and exterior areas, to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to help to deter unauthorized access and report irregularities to the appropriate personnel.
• Communicate professionally and courteously with employees, visitors, and contractors while maintaining a visible presence throughout the location.
• Assist in implementing and supporting site access control procedures, including verifying credentials and escorting individuals as necessary.
• Observe and report on conditions or situations that may impact site operations, escalating concerns to Allied Universal management and/or site leadership as directed.
