About The Position

As a Security Officer Patrol Driver in Milwaukee, WI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer in a government transportation location, where you will patrol assigned areas, perform routine driving patrols, and remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents. You will also support riders and staff through strong customer service and clear communication. Requirements

  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to passengers, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a public transportation location.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with supervisors and/or public agency representatives as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of transit facilities, platforms, parking areas, bus staging areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unwanted activity and report security-related concerns.
  • Monitor access points, public areas, and/or restricted locations, assisting with directions, crowd management, and policy awareness in a professional manner.
  • Support daily operations by observing site activity, reporting hazards or maintenance concerns, and following post orders and emergency procedures based on the location's needs.
