About The Position

As a Security Officer - Patrol Driver with Active Clearance in Indianapolis, IN , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal at an aerospace and defense location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and deliver standout customer service through clear communication. Requirements

An active DoD Secret clearance is required.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by following site-specific, security-related procedures, access requirements, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents and critical situations at an aero and defense location in a calm, problem-solving manner, contacting site leadership and/or public emergency services as needed.
Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, flight line or hangar-adjacent areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify irregular conditions.
Monitor entry and exit points, verify identification and/or visitor authorization, and help maintain visitor logs and delivery documentation per site policies.
Document patrols, access activity, and incident details in written reports and/or electronic systems, and communicate notable information during shift transitions.
