Job Description As a Security Officer - Mall Patrol Driver in Luckey, OH , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer at a busy retail distribution location, you will conduct routine patrols, remain highly visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and support access control with clear communication and customer service. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license under AU Driver Policy Requirements. Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience is preferred.
Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out site-specific procedures, post orders, and/or emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, requesting additional support and/or public emergency services when appropriate.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail distribution and warehouse location, including the perimeter, parking areas, trailer yards, and dock doors as assigned.
Monitor access points and help to deter unauthorized entry by verifying identification, checking visitor logs, and following sign-in and badge procedures.
Observe inbound and outbound vehicle activity at gates and/or entrances, following instructions for directing traffic, documenting deliveries, and reporting irregularities.
Use surveillance systems, radios, and/or other communication tools to monitor activity and report suspicious or unusual behavior per site procedures.
Assist with loss prevention and other security-related duties by reporting potential theft, damage, or policy violations to site leadership and Allied Universal management.
Complete daily activity logs, incident reports, and other documentation in a timely manner, using clear and accurate descriptions.
Perform foot and/or vehicle patrols as directed, adapting to varying working environments and conditions at the location.
Provide directions and general assistance to drivers, employees, and visitors while maintaining a professional presence and customer-focused approach.
