As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a utilities location, you will conduct routine patrols and rounds, stay highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and document observations. You will communicate clearly with site contacts and/or dispatch while providing professional customer service. This is a driving post requiring a valid Driver's License and meeting AU Driver Policy Requirements. Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
• Valid Driver's License with a least 1 year of driving experience

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to site employees, contractors, and/or visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of utility facilities, yards, parking areas, and perimeter lines; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
• Monitor access points and verify identification, visitor authorization, and/or work orders as required; assist with traffic control and delivery routing in accordance with post orders.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including alarms, suspicious activity, and/or property damage; request assistance from site contacts and/or public responders when needed.
• Document patrols, incidents, and observations in written reports and/or electronic logs; communicate noteworthy activity to Allied Universal supervision and/or site management.
