Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a commercial real estate location, where you will conduct routine driving and foot patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support tenants and visitors with outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

  • A minimum of 6 or more months of security-related experience is required.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Nice To Haves

  • The ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
  • Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns through proper communication channels and documenting activity as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout lobbies, hallways, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter areas to help to deter unwanted activity and identify unusual conditions.
  • Monitor entry and exit points, verify authorized access when required, and report maintenance, lighting, and/or property concerns that could impact daily operations.
  • Complete detailed activity logs, incident reports, and shift pass-down notes, and communicate professionally with property management, tenants, and/or responding personnel.
