About The Position

As a Security Officer Patrol Driver in Sandusky, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Transportation, and more. Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out assigned security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a transportation location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report conditions to the appropriate contacts.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, platforms, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor entry and exit activity, observe rail-adjacent and facility areas for suspicious behavior and/or operational concerns, and document security-related events according to site guidelines.
• Communicate with site personnel, visitors, and/or first responders as needed during routine operations and critical situations.
