As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a fast-paced automotive location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, perform routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will communicate clearly with site contacts, respond to alarms and/or calls for service, and deliver standout customer service. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • A minimum of 2 or more years of security-related experience is required.
  • Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout automotive production, warehouse, office, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
  • Monitor access points and verify credentials for employees, contractors, and deliveries, and assist with visitor check-in and direction in accordance with site procedures.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating notifications and assisting site leadership and/or emergency responders as needed.
  • Document patrol activity, incidents, and observations in written reports and/or electronic systems, and communicate relevant updates to supervisors and site contacts.
