Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a dynamic retail location, where you will conduct routine driving and foot patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service. You will support a welcoming environment through strong communication, teamwork, and integrity while responding to the needs of shoppers, tenants, and staff in a fast-paced setting.

Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
A guard card or license is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to visitors, tenants, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a retail location.
Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts as needed.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout common areas, storefront corridors, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
Monitor access points, observe visitor and vendor activity, and report maintenance, property, and/or security-related concerns to the appropriate site personnel.
Support crowd management and traffic flow during busy shopping periods, special events, and/or store openings and closings while following post orders and location procedures.
