Job Description As a Security Officer Patrol Driver Associate in Clayton, NC , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a healthcare location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and support access control activities. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license. Bring strong customer service and communication skills to a team that values agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity.

Requirements

  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to staff, visitors, donors, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a healthcare location.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, parking areas, and perimeter to help to identify unusual activity, unsecured access points, and/or conditions that may require attention.
  • Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials when required, and help to support authorized access for employees, visitors, and/or deliveries in accordance with site policies.
  • Assist with security-related presence during opening, closing, and high-traffic periods, helping to promote order and support a professional environment for daily healthcare operations.
