Job Description As a Security Officer Patrol Driver in Cleveland, OH , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer in a government location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a government location.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while documenting relevant details and communicating with appropriate personnel.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, grounds, entry points, and perimeter areas to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
  • Monitor access points and public areas, observe visitor and staff activity, and report suspicious behavior, hazards, and/or policy violations according to site protocols.
  • Support daily operations by maintaining a visible presence, following post orders, and assisting with incident reporting, directional assistance, and other security-related responsibilities as assigned.
