As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a food and beverage location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, remain highly visible, and respond to security-related concerns with clear communication and strong customer service. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license under AU Driver Policy requirements, with patrols performed primarily by vehicle. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, contractors, drivers, and visitors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a food and beverage production and distribution location.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of interior and exterior areas, including production spaces, warehouse areas, parking lots, and perimeter points, documenting unusual conditions that may help to deter unwanted activity.
  • Monitor access points and verify authorized entry for personnel, deliveries, and service providers, following visitor management and badge and/or credential procedures.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including alarm activations, medical calls, and facility disruptions, and notify site contacts and/or public responders as directed.
  • Complete detailed incident reports and daily activity logs, communicate security-related observations to Allied Universal supervision and site leadership, and support investigations by preserving facts and observations.
