About The Position

As a Security Officer Patrol Driver in Zeeland, MI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer in a dynamic food and beverage location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by carrying out assigned security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a food and beverage location.
  • Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report observations according to site protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production areas, parking areas, loading and shipping zones, and the exterior perimeter, with working conditions that may vary by location.
  • Monitor access points, verify authorized entry and exit, and help to deter unauthorized activity involving employees, visitors, vendors, and/or deliveries.
  • Document daily activities, incidents, and/or maintenance or hazard-related observations, and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
