About The Position

As a Security Officer Patrol Driver in Fort Wayne, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer at a dynamic construction location, where you will monitor activity, conduct routine patrols, and help to deter security-related incidents through a visible presence and strong communication. Requirements

Possess at least 2 years of security-related experience.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Access control and badge experience is preferred.
The ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
Alarm panel experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with site contacts as needed.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including perimeter areas, access points, and active work zones, while helping to identify and report suspicious activity and/or site concerns.
Monitor entry and exit activity, verify authorized access in accordance with site procedures, and report unauthorized persons, vehicles, and/or materials.
Support a professional presence at a construction-related location by observing changing conditions, reporting hazards or maintenance concerns, and following post orders and Allied Universal protocols.
