Join Allied Universal at a healthcare location as an unarmed patrol officer in a driving post, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine vehicle and foot rounds, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. You will support patients, visitors, and staff with strong communication and customer service while representing a caring, agile, reliable, and integrity-driven team.

Requirements

Possess at least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a healthcare location.
Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with supervisors, staff, and/or first responders as needed.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with directing foot traffic, and report security-related concerns involving restricted areas, after-hours access, and/or suspicious behavior.
Support daily operations at the location by following post orders, completing routine reports, and assisting with security-related requests from hospital personnel and the public.
