As a Security Officer - Vehicle Patrol Driver in Racine, WI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy retail and mall location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will deliver warm customer service, communicate clearly with shoppers and store teams, and respond to concerns with integrity and teamwork. This is a driving post, requiring a valid driver’s license and meeting AU Driver Policy requirements.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a retail location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including medical events, disturbances, and alarms, and notify appropriate parties as required.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols throughout sales floors, common areas, service corridors, loading areas, and the exterior perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify maintenance and operational concerns.
• Control access to restricted areas by verifying credentials, monitoring entrances and exits, and assisting with visitor and/or vendor direction in accordance with post orders.
• Document security-related activities, observations, and incidents in written reports and/or activity logs, and communicate updates to Allied Universal supervision and site contacts as needed.
