About The Position

As a Security Officer - Patrol Driver in Albuquerque, NM, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer at a dynamic tech and media location, you will conduct routine patrols, remain highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and respond to requests with clear communication and customer service. Requirements

  • Have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to staff, visitors, vendors, and/or production crews by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting issues to site contacts and Allied Universal supervision.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of studios, offices, sound stages, parking areas, and perimeter, checking doors, gates, and common areas for irregular activity.
  • Support access control at designated points by verifying credentials, managing visitor check-in, and directing authorized traffic to the appropriate locations.
  • Monitor cameras, radios, and/or other site systems as assigned, completing accurate patrol logs, incident reports, and shift handoffs.
