Join Allied Universal as an unarmed driving patrol officer in a retail location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment through strong customer service and communication. In this role, you will bring an agile, reliable, and innovative approach, work closely with your team, and act with integrity while assisting with day-to-day site needs.

Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Alarm panel experience is preferred.
CPR and/or First Aid experience is preferred.
Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and staff by following site-specific procedures, access guidelines, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to site leadership.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location, sales floor, common areas, entrances, exits, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity and security-related concerns.
Monitor foot traffic, assist with loss prevention awareness, and help to deter unauthorized activity, trespassing, and policy violations through visible presence and routine patrols.
Support store and location operations by assisting with opening and closing activities, observing delivery and vendor activity, and communicating clearly with management and/or emergency services as needed.
