As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a retail or mall location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing a welcoming presence for guests and staff. This is a driving position, requiring a valid driver's license. You will deliver outstanding customer service, communicate clearly, and uphold Allied Universal's values of integrity, teamwork, and putting people first in every interaction.

Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide excellent customer service to clients and visitors by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail and mall location, including interior and perimeter areas, to help to deter unwanted activity.
Monitor for suspicious activity or potential hazards and report findings to the appropriate personnel.
Assist with access control by observing entrances and exits, and verifying credentials as required.
Support emergency response activities as directed, including guiding guests and/or staff during incidents.
Maintain accurate and detailed records of daily activities, incidents, and/or irregularities observed during patrols.
Communicate professionally with clients, guests, and team members to address questions, concerns, and/or incidents.
