You will complete routine vehicle and foot patrols, control access points, respond to alarms and/or reports, and document activity using a computer or tablet. Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Alarm panel experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access control, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare location, including interior spaces, corridors, parking areas, and perimeter areas, noting unusual conditions and reporting concerns.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including disturbances, medical-related calls for assistance, and/or fire or alarm activations as directed by post orders.
Complete detailed reports on daily activity, incidents, and/or maintenance or environmental issues observed during patrols, and communicate updates to site contacts and Allied Universal supervision.
Monitor assigned areas for unauthorized access, prohibited items, and/or policy violations, and help to deter unwanted activity through high-visibility presence and timely notification to appropriate personnel.
